    not a fan of the guy but seems a shame not to race next year

    Put simply, he had no choice, his contract is with MSVR, not SMR racing, and it stipulated he couldnt go to WSBK, so it was MotoGP or bust.

    I guess this confirms shakey is taking the motogp ride then as it was between him tommy and alex lowes

    Alex Lowes was never in the running. Sam Lowes was rumoured to be thought about (but it was BS) but yeah shakey & yonny hernandez

    I would have thought Shakey would have stayed in BSB . Sad to see Tommy not continuing , did he have no option to stay with Swan Yamaha ?

    Its clear what happened - he sat on my Fireblade and just knew from then on nothing would come close so he it was better to quietly slip into the distance...

    yes he's done well with them? strange he coudl not stay with them if he wanted
