    Hi guys
I dont know whats wrong, wondering if someone of you have more knowledge about batteries..

My bikes is acting wierd. Tried to charge it fully. Then its starts.. think it had like 13.20V when its fully charged.
A few days later its down to 12.75V. When i try to start it it wont start and after one try the battery is down to 12.33V.

I dont have stuff that can drain the battery.
Is it time for a new battery or does it sound like something else is wrong here?

Sorry to say but I think its time for a new battery, They can show 12 volts but don't have the amps to turn the bike over.

SES lithium one I just got does not loose charge as much as a regular battery and is much much lighter but cost me £100

other than than just use the recommended battery that is already used on the blade

Just make sure you get a good quality battery, you could go for standard fitment Yuasa battery; I got a Lucas battery at a good price and seems very good so far. I posted my story elsewhere on here if you can find it "Tale of two batteries" I think I titled it. Main thing is you need a battery with at least 130 Cold Cranking Amps, known as CCA in the trade as I found out. The Lucas on is 150 CCA, Standard Yuasa is 130 CCA. I'm sure you may find others out there but avoid Poweroad batteries they only have 80 CCA, I had one fitted by my Honda Dealer and it caused no end of aggro.

it's the cold weather that will kill your battery, get yourself an optimate to keep it conditioned whilst your not riding it,if your using it regular then it should be fine.

Its standing in a very warm and cosy garage, being maintained every week.
Ill try and find a good battery for the bike.. not being able to trust that it starts is one of the worst feelings =)
