Radiator fans

Hi.can any one tell me if both radiator fans should come on together or do they come on separately one later than the other.many thanks Sid

 

I have a feeling they come on separately, but not sure.

 

If your question relates to the 08 onwards they operate separately in normal operation; The workshop manual says 102.6 deg C for the right, 106.2 deg C for the left. If both come on together it indicates an abnormality with the ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor and its circuit
