That's the best part of owning a Blade, you can leave everything behind so why not.

Went to the Long Mynd on Saturday, roads where mostly dry but empty of Bikes. Then back to Craven Arms for a light snack of Bacon and Eggs.
Then onto Iron Bridge, Shrewsbury, Telford then Home to Walsall. I love Global Warming cus you get 130 Mile ride outs in January. lol...

The high screen blends well with that paint screen JG. Do you do touring miles or did you get it because you are a giant?

acf50 is a fluid that you spray or apply with a cloth on metal to protect it, very good, not cheap but worth it. I think it comes from the aircraft industry .
Managed a cheeky run out to ponderosa yesterday, was nice to get out again although it was cold, roads damp and lots of grit marbles in middle of lane. Bike is now dirty so a wash is next job and apply some acf50.

When I stopped today, on two occasions, civilians asked me "aren't you cold?"

Not now I've got out of the 70 mph wind chill, no...

It just felt so good to root around in the boot and find the wraparounds and get into 6th. Despite salting my coffee.

Which I've since found is USN common practice. Christ! No wonder they're so po faced all the time.

Jimbo, you'd have loved to be with me today ( well, you'd have been a couple of miles ahead, I 'spect), first Dartmoor in the winter sun then Bodmin moor in the Cornish sun, which isn't as good as the Devon one, then back again. Bridge Motorcycles for bacon and SP Motorcycles for chat.

I've kitted myself out with Keis heated body warmer and gloves - so just watch the temperatures go to record highs now! :)

Clarkey: Love the colour scheme on yours. Is that standard?

For a variety of reasons (and excuses!) I just haven't ridden mine enough for the past few years. I'm determined to sort that out this year, and am going to ride - no matter what the weather. I've got to say riding in the winter is bloody good and satisfying too!
