****PRICE DROPPED TO £5700**** Im going away with work in March so Ive decided to sell the blade, Shes been on SORN for over a year now and another year on it and missing another summer is criminal.. Im putting feelers out now but i suspect a bump nearer March due to people being skint The Bike and im hoping you agree with the mileage an absolute bargain @ £6000 Bike had all the recalls done by Honda which at the time was in Portsmouth and this was where the bike was purchased Black (best colour ..) with only 4000 miles on it Just put brand new Dunlop Qualifiers front n rear with a brand new MOT Will have 6 months tax BOS exhaust which sounds awesome, runs pretty smooth and I've had no need for a PC R&G Paddock Stand Bobbins Tinted Headlight protectors (removable W/velcro) R&G Tail Tidy Original Honda seat cowl 2 sets of keys, all paperwork with service history stamps This bike is and has been stored in a workplace garage covered up away from the elements...during the time I've had the bike out (on private roads) it was knocked/pushed (who knows) over,, luckily for me no plastics were scratched and the brake lever which snapped took the brunt which has since been replaced... it has a small scratch on the bar end and the smallest of graces on the engine casing..I will post pix once Ive took some more I really cannot justify keeping it locked away for another year...This bike needs to go to a new owner who will enjoy it like I have, everytime i think about selling it i go out on her and everything changes but this time things are different and I have other reasons.. Please if you know of anyone who wants a Blade and one with such a small amount of miles for the year then send them this way...PM me for Mob number I see these go for more than what Im asking with 3 times the mileage on so I think the price is fair and is priced to sell..
I've forwarded this onto a mate who's searching for a Fireblade at the moment. My bike is getting packed up in the garage for a cheeky 6 months whilst I also go away with work in March
Cheers mate...The trouble is my 6 months away may turn into 9 or 12 so even if I do the bare minimum Im away Nov to Australia regardless which means another year with it not being used and another drop in what its worth
Hi Jams. I've just sold my gixxer and have decided that a blade is next on my list. However as I live in ireland ill have to factor in travel and transport costs. I know it's low but would you take £5,500 cash as its all I can afford?
£6k is a very fair price and the bike looks great. Wish I had a few bob to upgrade. Good luck with the sale.
I agree it is a fair price it's just that the exchange rate is against me and I'll have to pay €540 to register it in ireland.
I don’t know if you military guys have to do HMCR self assessment tax forms based on how many days you are AWOL out the country but money in the bank is taxable! Think about it! Motorcycles or anything else you have purchased/own are not. Its just a thought fella's. Now back to my self assessment on line input.
Sorry for the late reply mate..ive just seen this...Hmm If it saves me messing around listing it and you can get another £200 Id let it go but its a very cheap bike as it is, especially with the mileage
bike trader mate not many tyre kickers on there, ebay & gumtree are load of shit. Time wasters, just wishing they had the cash. 6k cheap as chips end of. Ive traded cars for last 4 years and had the experience of every tom dick & harry off these 2 sites ebay/gumtree. Good look
I sold my Triumph Street Triple within 3 days through eBay and that was in December. It cost me £10.00 for an auction type 12 pictures listing, small amount paid upfront through PayPal for identification and the rest in cash.
its a great bike and a bloody bargain...Definitely wont be buying brand new next time! not with bargains like this popping up all the time. How the hell do you guys keep the mileage so low...only had mine since August and already got 4675 miles on it!
Know what you mean, they still bring up excuses I've not heard of and I've been selling cars on and off for 20 years. Some of them win then think its ok to haggle it down even more.Got the right money? No then it goes to the next highest bidder. They soon pay up.Cheeky fucks.
I've used that tactic with a Romanian - told him direct - @the price you bid is the sales price, if you expect to come here and haggle please don't waste your money on petrol and time travelling - if you want to start £500 and haggle we end up at the same price, but you won an auction and that is the price" Amazingly he paid full amount on arrival!
Hi everyone.. Price now dropped to £5700... and am only around until this Sunday if people was to come and look at it
