Hi guys, i've looking at the Yoshi R77 for my 2012 blade as well. It's a lovely piece of kit! I've asked around alot.. Be aware because they come from the US the R77 IS NOT road legal.. so depends on your MOT test center you might get problems a few years down the road. Anybody has any ideas to get around this problem?

If It is stamped 'not for road use' and that's what's worring you, just cover it with a heat proof sticker as a tester is not allowed to remove anything durring the test.
If its the noise level that worries you it's down to the testers ear if the exhaust is too loud. Now most testers are bikers them selves so will pass it, my baffle hasn't been in for 3 years!

Yeah I agree with martin, I had a leovince on my 600rr and it was louder than a lot of cans I've heard on the street. Took it in for MOT and like yourself was worried it wasn't going to pass, asked the bloke and he said "well... its probably a fail... but I'm a sensible chap (wink)" so really depends where you take it. Ask around, most of my mates all go to same place as me cos they all wanna be a nuisance with their loud pipes as well!

Welcome mate, 24 is young for a blade owner but i guess we just have more common sense than the rest of the guys and gals and we buy 1 when we are young.

Never seen a m4 on a blade before, i have a straight through g.p.r thunderslash and love it, the same cant be said for the people i ride with as its a little noisy.

Hope to bump into you when the weather pics up as your not too far away.

p.s im still the young gun ash as im only 23

I wouldnt everyone will hate you lol, and they are quite hard to buy now.

If you have the money then buy akrapovic but the yoshi r-77 and leo vince gp pro are very popular and good quality
