    Hi,
listed these a few times on ebay and have been messed around with both sets and three different buyers, two who made no contact at all and the other backed out yesterday.

So..... I had two sets fully painted up last year, one i fitted to my bike and the other a mate was supposed to be buying from me. He's not now, so here they are! They come with all the genuine infil panels and i'll include a decal set. I didn't want the decals lacquering over, the gold coachlining has been lacquered over and looks awesome.

These have never been fitted since painting so are in perfect condition!!!

The black set were spares so i could still ride my blade while the other panels were away being sprayed. Paint isn't the best but they do the job and they're genuine honda too. I have infills for these but not 100% sure if its a full set, i''ll double check.

£450 for the Legends kit including decals and infills. (paint job alone cost a heap more than this but i'm running out of storage space, need them gone!)
£200 for the black set including infills.

    Cheers, Matt

    Hi guys,
The pictures really don't do it justice either, it looks stunning in the flesh and really modernises the bike. I think it looks mean in the matt black set too though....

So my asking you to just confirm they are 100% ok with no damage, before travelling 220 miles each way is me backing out is it?

I said i would back out if you could not confirm they were undamaged (fair enough surely), then you then said there had been a plastic weld to the mid panel on the left (only after I'd asked 8 times). (In the tt legends this is). I told you I would not complete if the fairings were damaged, as this was not how they were described.

If you had merely said they were in perfect condition, as described, I'd have been in my way to collect on Sunday as agreed.

I am still amazed that my asking you to confirm the perfect condition before travelling was such as issue for you? All I wanted was to buy what I had won, and was checking they were such before travelling so far.

Nick, you asked a fair few questions before the auction which i answered, then after winning the auction you started asking about broken lugs or damage? They are as described, perfect with no damage and never been fitted since spraying. I didn't avoid your question, i just got fed up with answering your questions that were actually already in the listing if you had read it properly.

Then you started arguing with me about their value? Also, even with the small weld on them like the other set i fitted to mine (not this set), it was proffesionally done and stronger than the originals which crack if you knock the indicator. Its not visible in the slightest, is that enough to back out of an auction AFTER you've won it? And even when i explained that it was the other set with the weld?

Thanks, but i'll let someone else have them at a decent price.

I didn't argue about the value at all

I asked you to confirm there was no damage before travelling. Is it so wrong to ask for confirmation of what was in the listing before travelling such a distance? I asked you 8, yes 8, times but each time you avoided answering until you had to. You even said well if they were crash damaged they are still worth it. What on earth was I supposed to think about the condition with remarks like that. Then you admitted they were damaged.

I'm not trying to argue value, probably they were worth 360 as damaged repaired but that is not what I wanted, or bid on.

Then you send a comment saying actually its your other set that's damaged not this one? Seems a big thing to mix up, I'd certainly know whether my fairings were cracked or not.

I'm glad you read it as the deal being off, because I reckon I'm getting a close escape here

Ill happily go and pay double or more for set of honest fairings

    Good luck with your sale

    Nick

I didn't avoid the question, you asked several questions in each message you sent and like i said, i was a bit busy at work. I had already told you they were exactly as pictured and had no damage, i remembered when i had all 14 panels sent away that ONE panel had a small weld that had no adverse affect on the panels whatsoever and i said i'd check when i had a spare 5 minutes.

You also mentioned you had a tight budget and "didn't want to offend" with your buy it now offer, so something is amiss there if you're happily going to spend £800 on another set. Good luck Nick, and good luck to the next person who has to deal with you.

So... If anybody would like pictures of the panels in more detail, inside or out, or would like to see them before comitting so they know i'm not selling damaged panels, then please inbox me!

Thanks for the wishes of luck.

Tip for anyone interested; have a look at matts old for sale threads on here. Not exactly smooth sailing.

Thanks for pointing out that you aren't the only idiot i've had to deal with whilst selling things. Every other item was happily received and as i described, as i said these fairings are genuine and i have nothing to hide, so lets just leave it there shall we. Thanks.
