Bike magazine landed on my door step this morning.

There's a good review of the new Honda CB1100 (I'm sure Ken would enjoy this), and also the new MV F4 RR (I'm sure Jimbo would like).

To be honest the Bike mag isn't my favourite but the girlfriend got me a subscription a few years back and hasn't cancelled it yet. Performance Bikes mag is my mag of choice.

Anything bike just now though is appreciated.

Oh and they really rate the new CB1100

Mine hasn't arrived yet. They did send an email saying they could be late due to the snow.

It was a really good review mate. Honda have actually built in little quirks to make it more in line with the style of the bike.
I won't waste it for you but if your getting 1 I'd go find a copy to read.

Thanks for the heads up col...ill nip to the shops later and pick one up... No doubt those two bikes will be in all the mags this month as they recently launched them.

What they say about the mv? Insane power, hard work, great when pushed, not as refined as the japs, bit cramped?

Essentially lovely to look at but flawed as per usual with MVs.
I am a total sucker for bike mags, especially at this time of year to get a hit. MCN every week, plus Ride and Bike every month. And I know the same thing is in them all ,but what the hell.

Exactly that Jimbo. Just your kind of bike mate.

I'd say the F4 R would be the best of the lot. I know the F4 RR is the 1 with the most toys but the R version would be right up your street. Lighter wheels, Ohlins suspension and it has the RR engine just without all the gimmickry.

You know me too well!! Ha ha.... I actually love the standard wheels, but the r has the best set up and value for money IMO....

Flawed? All is forgiven with those looks and claimed 195bhp! Ha ha.

Way I see it, my 2008 r6 was fine for touring, one of these can't be any worse surely? Lol

God knows what I'll do, going to test the duke and one, but will prob bottle it again and get another economical (as it can be) jap bike couple years old, no miles and half the price ha ha
