Now I appreciate this may be a pointless question as personal interpretation is everything in these matters, however............................... Is there a preference to which widely available Can replacement makes a 'nice' noise without sounding overly loud and making me look like Teenage Twat! Am thinking Akrapovic as I like the look of them and that's a big point also. Not that keen on the Cans that look like they've been made of loads of chopped up 100mm tubes of stainless steel either! I'll await the Forums subjective responses!
They are not as good proformance wise as akra's etc but I have always preferred the sound of scorpion to anything else available for my rr5
Lol, ya right there me little Tyke! Not inferring you're a 'Teenage Twat' either, they do have their uses! I'd already discounted the M4!
Just put a Carbon Scorpion can on my 2011 HRC, I liked the carbon look and I also liked the carbon fairing infill. The sound without the baffle is lovely, I have put the baffle back in at the moment to see which I prefer (assuming I can get out and try it) I bought it off e bay for £250 which was also a bargain. BTW the weight saving is also a factor. In the end it is personal choice.
I run with a Yoshimura RS5. Performance gains (as verified by Dyno, not seat of pants. Lol) and sounds really deep. Build quality has been great too as I've had it on my rr05 since it was a couple of months old and still works and looks great.
had a hyperflo exhaust for a while, nice agressive sound and made good power. [excuse the state of the bike, it was during winter and roads were muck]
