Take it from the Powercommander web site. It'll be the same as/no better than someone's on here. All bikes are different, and the maps on the PC web site will be fine to run until you get one custom done. I had 3 maps from 3 different sources all for a 08 with Arrow system. The PCIII software lets you compare maps and all were different, and when I got a custom map done that was again different to the other 3. The one from the PC site will work fine, won't do any harm.
Thanks for that, I will down load a map now, Do I need a 9v battery and lead to install or can I install a map when the PCIII is on the bike? Also how much better is power-commander maps over stock?
You won't need the 9v supply, you just need the ignition switch on and the kill switch to run, but dont need the engine running. The software is pretty cool, shows throttle position % even with the engine off. Fire it up and it will shows live rev's too. I'd prefer to run a PC map than a standard 'zero' map if I'd changed the pipe.
I have a custom map on my computer for a full akra and flapper mod if that's anygood, I bought my pc3 2nd hand and that's what was loaded on there already so I saved it incase any use to anyone
