Don't get them at all! A bit of a strange idea, and could be confusing to other road users!

Mr B, do you know if the 2013 rims are a straight swap with the 07-12 rims on the 600rr?

    TIA

Nice. Can't believe it still has underseat exhaust, but I assume changing it would involve a whole chassis redesign.
Bought a new CBR600RR in 2003 (the first RR model) for about 7k I think. It lasted 7 weeks before getting stolen :(

indicators lit all the time? Very 80's USA styleee. They were called running lights then. I think the whole thing looks great.

Good looking bike. I like the way it looks different from a Fireblade.

One thing that irks me about GSXR's is the way they look identical: 600 750 1000. All the same.

And to those who say 'the k6 600 had grey pillion peg nuts where on the bigger bikes they were black and the 1000 had 3% neoprene in the seat' I say...they all look the same.

    FYI

    Notice
There has been a change in European legislation (UNECE) regarding position lamps for motorcycles. This change allows the use of Amber Position Lamps (APL) as an alternative to the current white position lamps.

From 2013 year model, some of the motorcycles in Honda's model range will be fitted with this new feature.

    New Model Information
The first model to be equiped with APL will be the CBR600RR 2013 year model, which will soon be arriving in the U.K.

This will be followed by other new and existing models, which will be fitted with APL

    APL system information
    The Legislation:

UNECE regulation 53.01, lighting installation (Motorcycles) article 6.6:

    Old version:

    - 6.6.Front Position Lamp.
    - 6.6.1.Number, One or two

In 2011 this article was changed to:

    - 6.6.Front position lamp.
    - 6.6.1.Number, one or two if coloured white or Two (one per side) if coloured amber.

    System configuration:

The system is composed of the normal motorcycle components (turn signal lights, head and tail lamps). There is not any new external devices. The changes are only in the circuitry, internal components and the way of working to apply this new optional way of light positioning.

The APL lights will be located in the current turn signal lights, abolishing the need for the current white position light/s within the headlight.
There is no change on rear positioning system.

    System operation:

The positioning lamps will have a low intensity brightness. When the turn signal button is switched ON, the front signal device of the side selected will switch ON the high intensity light for the turn light, working intermittently, as turn lights usually work. When the turn signal is switched OFF then, only the low intensity positioning light is still ON. The positioning light is ON while the turn light is flashing.

If any other problems, please refer to UNECE regulations 53.01.

I like it. Althought not keen on amber DRL. The should have put some white LED's in there as well that would go out when the Amber's flash. I Think that will confuse our already numpty car driving population!

Funnily enough, the only bike someone tried to steal from me was a CBR600, I dont know what it is about those bikes that make them such a target for theft, maybe now sports bikes are so much less popular this may not be the case now.

But back to the looks, I want to hate it but I like it.

Need to the rev the thing but once over 7K it goes OK, could be fun and really liking the looks. Quality seems very good get a strange orange glow from the indicators on the corners of the front fairing at night which seems a bit odd as does looking down to see the indicators always on.

Unfortunately it's been wet so haven't been able to push it but early signs are of a competent bike and with the BPF as on the Blade reckon it will handle very well. No substitute for power though.

    I like it.

looks better than 2012 Fireblade if you ask me. Makes you wonder if next Fireblade will be that shape.

It does look good... How small is it? my 04 600RR was small one of the main reasons for changing it. I love my blade but do miss the 600..

I think that looks stunning. Really like the shape and colours, but I will never go back to a 600.
