I've got a carbon front mudguard which was on bike when I first got it - but carbon rear for 2012 will be loads-a-money so will stay as is for now.
Due to gale force winds and snow down here, went into my garage this morning, cup of tea and radio playing took the rear foot pegs off my new Repsol blade , 20 miles on clock and then fitted optimate charging lead. I have taken some photos and will post later. Split frame method, no need to remove tank. Worked slowly as didn't want to &£ck it up. Took me about 2 hours for the rear pegs. Although stupid design I can see why Honda designed them like this so that there are no holes visible on the frame once they are off. HM quickshifter is next thing to fit whilst weather shite [SUP][/SUP]
I did think about you this morning while watching the news Paul and thought you'd be chewing your nails down to your elbows.
Yeah, just one of those frustrating things I guess....but gives me time to get up close with the new girl . Forgot I have an evo tech rad guard to fit as well. Gale force winds and driving snow currently.
New chain and front and rear sprockets and stainless pro bolt sprocket nuts…. It needs a clean now as the stuff that's on the chain flings something awful… Well chuffed, it looks mint. It was snowing to and from the spanner monkey.
Nope, all standard mate. Reason was, i wanted the speedo the same dude, and it's plenty fast enough pour moi.
It's alright innit dude? Just about to go out, it snowed… Had it done…snowed. LOL. I was going to tidy up the wires from the HID conversion, but its too fekin cold mate!
Trying to get used to iMac after our old comp sadly got smashed as it was doing my head in bloody HP ha ha
Did nothing again today...snowing and gale force winds. Bugger , still only 20 miles on the clock in 5 days
Finished fitting the ventureshield kit. Left off the belly pan bits as its not painted. Lots of fun in the freezing conditions. Did order some more parts to fit. Not quite as good as riding it though.
took the bike for a tweak on the dyno after it's winter refresh/rebuild. a very suprising, albeit nice 182BHP!!!
