Update : popped into the garage today to see how things were going, the bike was stripped back to the coils and the guy said that so far he had found nothing wrong at all, but some good news is that its running on 3 cylinders not 2. So if he can find a problem with coil no.1 then everything should be ok, but if he cant then that will cause a bit of a dilema. i had a quick look over the coils and everything looked ok, he was asking how i managed to do it without removing the side fairings as he couldnt get to them (big hands) so i might be popping in on monday to give him a little help with my small hands :)

Nearly dropped it when I took it off it's lovely new Harris rear paddock stand, slippery little bugger.oops . :eek:Then put another 40 miles on the clock, roads still damp from snow , but the HM quick shifter worked great. A couple of pops on some of the short shifting gear changes. Lovely. Kill time is set at 65 as I am still running the bike in(6000 revs) and sensitivity is , I think around 60, but that may be a bit too sensitive as got a couple of lurches when changing gear using clutch at lower revs and took me a bit by surprise . Then cleaned bike once back in garage now has 60 miles on clock.

    Picked it up :D

And then almost high sided it......strong winds, heavy rain and train tracks on a bend.......not a nice combo

Here in Portugal and after warming up they are Ok... good confidence with the front... of course they excel more on track but for me they do fine on the street... might not be a good choice in the UK though.
