I'm sure the wheels would get snapped up very fast if you still have them and put up for sale on here

I know the wheels very well and the hub design is unique I'm intrigued as to whats in the hub and how the alignment is achieved as like you would appreciate engineering is always fascinating to see how a task has been accomplished however Ive decided never to touch what's so clearly marked DO NOT DISASSEMBLE, also at near a grand for the wheel you feel too much at stake to open it up and then fail to reassemble correctly with no idea of what's involved to get the job done as it was in Japan, Ive not even changed the bolts! Class wheels and truly forged alloy, underrated IMO but have been available for some years now.. Ive had my Type C for around 8 years, still mirror finish!

I have two sets of OZ Piega R for my SC59. Still like the Galespeeds I had on SC57 better.
A potential buyer will be very happy with the look and Engineering of that set of wheels - highly recommended from me!!

Sorry, I'll stop posting in this thread now. GLWS, great wheel!!

My old bike to serve as example ;)

When I bought my Dymags last year they were just under £1k so not a whole load more than the galespeeds especially if the colour is wrong, let alone the spacer issues!

I never had any doubts about the performance Arthur.

You have to get the girlfriend fired up and ready for the ride home ;)

Arthur's bikes are far too shiny even his off road ones, I'm starting to wonder if he actually rides them
Hang on come to think of it even times I have met him at loomies he's already there and stays until I have left!
I'm on to you Arthur, do you just drive them round in a van?? Do you even have a licence lol

Seriously that xjr is just too shiny, you need to ride them more mate ;)

No probs mate. Still can't understand how someone could build a wheel and then say you can't dismantle it? Looks like it wasn't a good buy for Dela ?

Like you mate I'm always keen to rework something and a wheel should be no problem. I've got reservations on these as the disc carriers only have around 10mm to play with its easy for Galespeed to change the hubs and if you were keen I see you reason why you could not make a new hub but the work involved could cost if you could find soneone with a mill to take it on, for me if I wanted them that bad I'd just buy the correct wheel...?

Problem you've got is you like to do your own work and it's hard to quit or walk away...lol

Yeah, spot on with that mate. I bought a 3 spoke, 17" VTR wheel for my Blade, everyone said it wouldn,t fit. Centre boss too small and bolt PCD different to RRW discs. So I made some adapters. No problem and a 17" wheel for 60 quid instead of 100quid for a six spoke that I didn,t want.

Same here, my OZ front wheel has modified carriers and spacer rings plus custom made also by me captive spacers for my forks, job done... :) sadly race parts as you know have to be made they are not available off the shelf.
