No problems with weight, in fact I need to lube the chain twice a week, I just push the bike up by hand on the right hand side and stick a plastic beer crate under the bobbin, gets the wheel high enough off the ground to lube the chain, 30 second jobby.
no pics, each side of the stand has two plastic coated prongs about 2" long which sit under each fork. Had to move the tax disc though....and the aint many places to put it. Once bike on stand it is solid. Recommend the oxford stands.
I've got the Ally box section one Harry but wished I'd not bought it now as Oxford don't make a matching front one! Why the Fek not? Put my Tax disc holder inside the fairing using the top RHS Mirror nut.
nice one. think i will put my tax disc in same place. Getting bloody impatient with this crappy weather, only done 50 miles. This sunday looks good but could do with a down pour to clean the roads.
You have to mod the Tax Disc holder a tadge harry. Depending on what your dealer fitted I found that the Tab was too long so I had to cut off maybe 35-40mm from the end which includes the original hole. Then you need to put 25-30mm or so of the new cut end in a Vice and bend it over to around a 40 degree angle, then drill a new M6 hole then it should fit in using the top RHS Mirror nut so the holder sits vertically. You'll get the drift when ya have a go I'm sure.
