I would really appreciate some help regarding a horrible issue I have with my bike... The problem have is what feels like the handle bars flopping to one side or the other ... this can be felt ( and seen ) the most if I ride the bike slowly into a corner and let go of the handle bars .... the handle bar violently try to turn to the corner side. .. This can be felt aswell at speed when taking bends .. the bike feels it is trying to turn into the bend and I am having to fight the handle bars from flopping.... I have been advised on the following ... Service the front forks and check head stock bearings .... do you guys think this sounds the right direction to go ? The tyres are fairly new and pressures good ... Thanks for reading :)

Sounds extremely dangerous at the mo so I'd not be riding it until checked over by a mechanic.

Could be loose top clamp, pinch bolts or anything along those lines so it needs looking at ASAP before you're 'tasting' hedge!

First port of call are tyre pressures but you say they're ok, re-check for what it takes mate then I'd say headstock bearings mate top and bottom. Just as a thought just try sitting on the bike, front wheel pointing straight forward, apply front brake and push bike forward, feel/look for any movement around top yoke - routine mot procedure for headstock bearing wear. Also look for any movement in the front wheel bearings by cocking the bike up on the side stand, let the steering flop to one side and place your hands top and bottom of the front wheel and try and move it in all directions around the axle
