Thanks Trueblue , got it all sorted out from my local Honda dealer.

 

Remove/loosen the mirrors before fitting the screen or you risk cracking the nose and watch the two plastic tabs if you can they will snap off the moment you look at them... Although it won't affect the fit after if you do

 

i stand corrected, I removed mine and found it eaiser, but if thats how yours got damaged I would do as you did and not remove the mirrors, still watch those plastic tabs though
