Hi everyone thought I would share what I have been up to with my blade, I love what's been done , I hope you do too , I have wanted to do this for over a year now saved hard and finally sorted everything to get the job done ...taking the bike to Italy in 4 weeks it all had to be done before then . Tavullia here I come !! . the story begins 22nd April just 6 days ago with a 2010 fireblade in standard colours so a regular blade begins her change everything starts to be removed to find a leaking rad that I had no idea about OMG rad removed and not repairable, my fault entirely never riding in winter again fkin salt ,luckily found a radiator from a 2010 blade in a breakers in England yahhh thank god I found it now and not when in Italy in a months time new oil, filter , plugs and air filter my poor bike is in bits big time I feel so sad at this point new brake lines went on neon red . after all the stress and a weeks work from Darren , his mate Julian and a little bit from me I helped to put the belly pan on ( which was a total awkward twat to do ) and did all the cleaning of every little part on her and I assure you she was disgustingly dirty yuk oh and ( making tea's and coffee's and cake ) thanks you guys she looks lovely. with a new rear tyre I took her out today for the first time since her transformation from classic Honda blade to her new self a rare and beautiful blade / simoncelli replica I am so happy with her she is a tribute to a guy who is my all time favourite rider What do you guys think of her now in her new form ? R.I.P Marco
said it before and will say it again, great work. wanted them colours myself, proper trick. did you change the tank badges?
No I wanted to see if I liked what they came with and it matches the tank pad and the filler cap too if they don't grow on me then I shall change them
Simply stunning and in my opinion better than the official rep that was done and then sold off for charity after the accident
That is an awesome looking bike. Be like getting a new one all over again but with better colours. Enjoy it!
