Hi after fitting new front brake pads to my 05 I slightly over tighten one of the pins and cracked the caliper,
I put a post on earlier asking if anyone had a left caliper for sale, and some member kindly mentioned that the later 08-monoblock calipers fitted straight on using my new pads I've just bought,
After doing some research and searching eBay I've heard that the later cbr600rr later models have monblock calipers and that they are exactly the same, please could anyone tell me if this is correct as I've found an immaculate pair on eBay and I can't find any for the blades
If any kind member has any info please could you let me know as I need to get back on the road as soon as.
Also while I'm on the subject has any one else cracked a caliper and know if it can be repaired
    Thanks guy

Get a replacement Guy, don't mess around with a repair job it would still have the weak spot.

I wouldn’t even consider a repair, toss it in the bin and buy a replacement. Don't muck about with safety critical parts its just not worth it IMO.
