Just bought new 07 blade in silver. Any suggestions for a seat cowl? Do Honda make one for the 07 blade? Are all the one's one ebay worth looking at, most Chinese.

Also looking for a higher screen to help on the motorway, any suggestions? Are they difficult to fit or best to do it at a dealer?

    Hello dude.
Post pics though or you dont own one :-D

There are loads of rear cowls, just trawl the bay for a silver one, or get a used one painted to match.
Screen wise, any double bubble should be fine and they fit easily.

Yeah a paint match from China could be an issue. Get a quick quote from a bodyshop to paint a cowl as the top removes from its base, leaving no masking to be done.

Both are an easy fit, the screen slides in place when the screws are out. The fidly bit is putting the rubber gromets in the screen before you slide it into the nose cone.

I upgraded to a Fabbri double bubble screen on my 2006 model from what looks like a Chinese smoked screen.

    Nah, that easy!

The fiddly bit is getting the feckers to stay in place whilst you slide the screen in!

An extra pair of hands helps as you need to spread the fairing slightly and also guide the screen in straight with very little tolerance.

    thanks for the info.
Unfortunately the fairing piece with the screen in has a small crack at the top. runs from the edge of the screen to the side. is the front fairing piece easy to replace? do you have to buy the full fairing kit or can you select bits. these guys only seem to have the full kit:

    Honda CBR-1000RR 2006 - 2007

    any suggestions?

    sorry about all the questions!

Yep, i'd give the cowl a go and paint it if it fits well but doesnt match.

    Re the nose cone.
It can be replaced, bit fiddly though. Can it be repaired? Either way it may have to come off.

I put a new high screen on just a couple of weeks ago, took all of 10 mins. Was a piece of cake, and trust me its easy if I can do it. :)
