Hi all just signed up so i give an intro. Iv got a 61 plate repsol blade had it 4 month and been doing bit to it. Started putting pc5 yoshi r77 slip on with no baffle and k&n filter having a bit bother locating the 02 eliminator plug . Any help would be great.
Welcome to the forum, I have a 60 plate repsol, with a R77 exhaust and K&N filter but not much help as this was fitted by JHS racing in Bristol at the first service. I also had the Bazzaz fitted and it all dyno'ed. So hoping someone will be along soon to help you out some more than I have Again welcome
follow the wire from the original exhaust, the connector is right behind the left side fairing. You can get to it without taking the side fairing completely off.
Thanks for the replys and help. I managed to get to the plug, I tried from the left side but with it being an ABS model I couldnt get to it as it was clipped to the harness. So I WENT IN FROM UNDER THE TANK . I took the tank off and it was easy I just located it by chasing the cable from the bottom after taking off the plastic engine cover to enable me to see the cable. Then I found the correct 1 as there is 2 very similar. IT SOUNDS LIKE A BIG JOB , BUT i JUST TOOK MY TIME AND HAD IT DONE WITHIN AN HOUR. Anyway iv taken it out for a test and believe me its great smooth thru the gears right thru to high rpm . Its has realy improved the low down power it hasnt got that delay anymore. Forgot to mention my bike had a akrapovic slip on with tie same power commander SET UP and it wasnt as quick down below mayby this was Due to not having the eliminator on at the time . But im pleased with the set up so im leaving it alone.
