Baglux without a doubt if you can afford it. The cover protects the tank (around £80-£100) and the bag clips on/off easily and pivots up by unclipping the rear only for fuel fills. There's a good range of bags/map pockets to choose from (again around £80 upwards) , I've got a smaller bag around 8 ltr capacity which is ideal.
The cover I've got matches the HRC colours too. If you change bike you only need a new cover.

Nice looking bag Masher. Careful mind there's some old geezer eyeing up the bike in one of the pictures.

Not the cheapest of tank bags, but if you want qualify and a customized fit, Bagster are the way to go. Demon Tweeks sell them.

Definately go with a Kriega R3 waist pack too - they're awesome.

Hi, what year blade you got as I have an 08-11 bagster / baglux cover and bag going cheap cheap. Probably the wrong colour in winning red, but if it's just on for the duration of the trip that may not bother you?

Well you gotta have it then me thinks. I've got the matching bagster bag too. Pm me your email address and I'll sort you out a photo or two and you can make me a cheeky offer.

mine is an 04 blade and its black and as i understand it the baglux cover is different on a 08-11 so sadly it wont fit mine.

You're right the 08-11 is a different shape and won't fit an 04 blade...I've got a black cover from my 05 blade surplus to requirements, it'd fit an 04 too, can probably dig out a pic if you're interested
