Hi there, Firstly, my apologies as i've already posted a new thread asking for some advice before saying hello... Anyway, hello, it's great to be part of the blade community although i don't actually have my bike as yet and won't until next month (hence asking for advice). My current bike a Triumph Daytona 600, loads of fun but it's now time to step it up and purchase a Fireblade. It's the big 4...0... next month and that's what i'm treating myself to. I'm up in 'bonny Scotland', Prestwick. If there are any bikers up in these parts who fancy going for a run, just say the word. That's it for now.. Take care Bill
Welcome Bill, I passed my test many years ago and had nothing more than a Superdream. At 42 I purchased my first letre sports bike with no problems at all. They are only has lively as your right wrist and as, just make sure its a Repsol you purchase, thats Repsol Bill not Black
Welcome to the forum mate. There's a bunch of us from around the Glasgow area. Yet to meet up however. Sounds like a a nice pressy for the big 4-0. Good luck in your quest to find one!
Thinking of either a nice refined, low millage 2007 or a new model 2008.. Not sure to be honest. Went into the local Honda dealer and i was pleasantly surprised by the money he was offering for my bike. Also, on a brand new blade he was doing 0% finance over 4yrs at £184 a month. Sounded great but wife would string me up by the bollocks if i was to spend 12 grand on a brand new bike.. Think i'll stick to a second hand one and just look for a minter. Any help with that would be appreciated..
Have a look about at the other dealers as there were a fair number of 2012 bikes at a fairly big discounts still with the 0% deal. It seems to just be colours which are different between the 12 and 13 bikes.
