    **SOLD**
I have a genuine Honda Tall Screen with dark tint for sale. Will fit a 2008 RR08 onwards. Its done 2.5K miles and is in very good condition. Retail new is £83. This makes a huge difference to the wind blast and makes the bike much more comfortable over distance. Looking for half price, or best offer plus P&P. I can supply additional pictures if you need. If you are interested either PM me or e-mail [email protected].
    Cheers.

    Hi Mate,

Thanks for the quick delivery, very chuft!.

Hope to fit in the next few days, just a few questions. Whats is the dark insert for and is it necessary. Also do you have any tips to fit ie do you remove the mirrors or not.

    Cheers again

    Jon

Looks like the darker insert is just to hide your clocks mate, if you wanted to.
Can't think of any other reason for it.
And having looked at my own at the weekend, you shouldn't have to remove anything other than the old screen.

I have not fitted or removed the screen myself – always got the dealer to do it for me. He did say you need to flex the fairing sides out a bit in order to get the screen in (or the old one out) You need to be very careful when flexing the fairing – they are very weak apparently. The black screen is to protect the clocks from the sun – because the screen is taller and has more of a curve to it apparently the sun can get magnified on the plastic below. Probably Honda being careful.
