Twas a sad time at the weekend as we said goodbye to our blade the third one we have had. We are doin more and more touring so went for a zzr1400 still got the speed but more comfort also can throw hard luggage at it. Enjoyed my time on this and another blade forum met a good few members who hopefully will still see out and about. [IMG] cheers mick & pat .

yes it was mate but we struggled two up with all the luggage for two for a couple of weeks away at a time. both me and pat were sad to part with it as it has taken us on 2 french tours along with devon and cornwall ,scotland and various trips in this country in the last two years clocking up 14000 miles. lookin for a cheap blade to play on in the near future.

in what way did you find the zzzr uncomfortable mate as we went out on sunday and noticed it to be a lot more comfy over the same distance travelled on the blade.keeps her indoors happy with a comfy seat lol.

I bought the bike as i have a bit of tennis elbow so after riding a mates for half an hour it was the bike for me Fast /comfort/wide bars /good handling. its only when i rode it for over 1 hour that my back was in bits and pains in the wrist plus a bit of bum ache. someone said its mybe that i am tall although only 6ft. i bought some genbar risers but lost heart in it and back on the blade no problems .So not slagging it off its just not comfortable for me also i bought it with the intention of taking my wife out ,we went out a couple of times but not having had a passenger before i found it really stressful every junction/roundabout had to have loads of extra consideration and i found it to be hassle (This maybe because i am crap at 2s up) .Regards Mike.

we did a tankfull on sunday in one hit and we found it very comfy i suffered a bit on the blade with arm pump after 150 miles but found the zzr didnt give me any such pain so fingers crossed will have to do a few build up rides as next year we are hopin to do 1000 miles in two days !!!! the wife is always on the back so i just forget shes there its only when i get a punch in the kidneys to slow down that i remember shes there lol.
