    Hi guy's.

I'm in new here so be gentle...

Looks like next week I will be picking up an 08 rr in white and black...

The bike I'm looking at is an 08 but with black engine covers and not the goldie coloured as I've seen on others....

Normal or keep away from ?????

Also what should I look out for or listen for ....

    Cheers

    Andy....

Hi mate Honda changed the engine casing colour after the 08 model and most prefer the newer colour. 08's are fine but slightly more prone to the engine oil consumption than the newer year models.

Get one with a full service history and in good condition and you shouldn't go wrong, they're pretty well built machines ;)

    Thanks for that...

I've only had a few Hondas before and never a blade, so a bit nervous of a track bike with clean fairings.

Thanks again, will have another look..

    Any....
