Hello lads, Quick update on the trip for you lot who aren't following the website/Facebook/twitter feeds. I'm currently in Kiev, Ukraine and tomorrow I head for Russia. I'm aiming to be in Moscow from the 18-21st June where I'll get the beast serviced and new boots put on her. Then it's East all the way to Vladivostok, via a wee stint in Mongolia. I'm hoping to have that stage done in about 6 weeks or so. If any of you are in Russia, or know any bikers there, please get in touch. It'd be great to meet up. Hope you're all well, Stay safe B
sprained his ankle pissed crossing the motorway ?? Ive heard it all now LMFAO. Not one of those White Cap wearing fellows then !? Me I was just an old wooden top
Few more posts up on his site and a great read and catch up on the train this morning!! Keep up the good work big man.
Ha Ha, Alblade - one day my son, one day ;-) I'm now in Moscow and been here for a week now. I got a new set of tyres sent over from the UK but they're still sitting in customs at Moscow airport, could be there for up to 3 months?! So, getting a set of BT23's on her today and leave tomorrow morning, heading to Kazan. The guys who have worked on the beast have done an incredible job. They've practically stripped her to the frame, disassembled everything, cleaned and lubed everything, rewired and replaced what needed doing, even did my valve clearances and cleaned the radiator! They worked almost day and night, all for £600? It'd cost about £3K in the UK at least. If you're ever in Moscow on a bike and need work done, have a look at www.mudfactory.ru There will be pics up on the Teapotone Facebook page soon to show what they did. Cheers for now, Bruce Ps: Jimbo, what DID happen on your euro tour? Every border I go to they ask if I've seen a red and white R1 and a lunatic who only uses the back wheel? Oh, and I guy who looks like Pudsey bear? www.teapotone.com Riding the world on 2 wheels Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
