Personally I'd say head east or north into East Anglia, roads are quieter. Somewhere like Adleburgh for F&C might work. Just a suggestion, I'm happy to go with the flow. Ok will check the online database for recommended biking roads to see if any are on route and also look at the return leg via Finchingfield, probably tomorrow tho at this rate
headed out that way last weekend... heres the route we took... https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?sadd..._Srg&oq=roxwell&mra=dme&mrsp=21&sz=11&t=m&z=9 highlights are : B1026 maldon to colchester B1508 Colchester to Sudbury B1115 Sudbury to Stowmarket A1120 Stowmarket to Yoxford B1078 Wickham Market almost back to Sudbury B1053 Bulmer Tye to Fitchingfield B1057 Steeple Bumpstead to Great Dunmow B184 Great Dunmow to Leading Rodding (I'd then continue to Ongar on the B184.. but we were running a little low on time) would have been nice to include a loop to clacton-thorpe le soken - harwich/ramsey - mistey - weeley - colchester ,at marker E
looking at your general map, this route would rock https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?sadd...StOI3YRzFgY8K7qBwOBQ&oq=great+&mra=pr&t=m&z=9

Route is looking good. I've played on a few of those ride but never ventured that fat east! And just to check we've decided on Sunday the 14th? Oh and any thought on a place to meet? How about meeting up in Baldock Tesco's easy to get to on the 505 or A1 & It would be rude not to start with the A505... Looking forward to it.. Ozz
Having not read the whole thread...............when's this gona happen guys??.I'm local to Ipswich so might tag along if the date is good.
Well I think meeting at Baldock Sunday morning is a plan. Some guys if everybody comes have got a fair way to come though ie Southend etc etc so it's up to you guys. You would all I suggest be more than welcome. Maybe breakfast at the silver ball cafe just outside Royston first then on to the east coast !? Someone better know where they are going as I don't have a clue!!?? In relation to other bikes coming; it would be good if it was all blades, but we are all bikers and share the same passions so my vote is Yes; any bikes can come. I would suggest they are at least 675/750 though lol
I have a friend who rides a RSV R Mille thou who wants to come hence the question. I can meet most places, what's the final verdict on meeting place?
Not sure who's definitely coming yet but I don't mind if non forum members also join in, I might drag my brother along with his rossi rep big bang R1 if everyone's cool with it. I'll be starting near Hitchin with Notsogreen and I'm sure we can come north or south to meet everyone
