    Hi all,
I have a 2013 BLADE with about 1000 miles on it . I am not sure if I am going mad but I have noticed a vibration coming right through the bike . I am not sure if it was there before. Anybody else experienced this? Is it normal or is something wrong. ...cheers

No not really normal dude just check a few bolts to see if they are tight although its a new bike have you fixed crash protection to the engine mounting bolts ? Its that sort of thing that you will be looking for.

To add, it may seem its coming through the whole bike, but your main point of contact are the bars, are they standard bar end weights or after market?

mine's a '13 which now has 2500 on the clock (in just over a mth lol) and it has a patch of vibration at about 5k.
tbh it does seem like a buzzy motor so i cant say im that arsed.
my plan is to ride it as hard as possible and try to break it within the warranty period.
if anything is going to go wrong, id rather it rear it's ugly head now rather than in 25mths.

thing is, it's a honda. they know what theyre doing. theyve been making litre IL4's for donkeys years and they dont break that often imo.
if youre at all worried then yeh, take it in for a check... but i wouldnt bother unless it is rattling its bollocks off / vibrating you to the point of orgasm and knocking through the pegs under load, ie accelerating uphill in high gear... thats usually the best test of shell damage/wear.

if you are concerned about unusual noises just park your bike next to a dry clutch ducati!
and if vibrations trouble you, have a ride on any litre v twin! the blade mill is quite smooth imo compared to a lot of other bikes - and wil probably outlast them too!

    Hang about!
which model did you go for? As you know Honda do their Honda Happiness scheme!
They did produce 2 models, one was made especially for the ladies and they took out some damping to guarantee the ladies got 'Honda Happiness! too!
Sounds like you got the Female Option mate. ;)

Mines a 2011,when it was brand new I moaned about the buzzing feeling via the bars and pegs. Dealer checked it out and found nothing wrong. Someone on here recommended fitting softer grips and heavier bar ends. Which I did and I don't really notice it anymore, certainly not via my hands anyway.

I have the same problem it's driving me nuts.... And driving my nuts to distraction... The buzzing makes my hand go numb. The thing is I can cancel it immediately by just taking the clutch play up on the lever??? This is telling me that there is something not right with the clutch. It works fine but it's as if the bale if the clutch is out or the release bearing is worn or something of that nature. I need to take it apart and figure it out.
