at the same time and bike cuts out... it is a 2004 Blade with 20.000miles and did my last 10mile trip home yesterday with the bike constantly cutting out for one or two seconds while HISS and engine light came on at the same time... managed to get home but what now I´m wondering what might be the issue...

Or does it think its being switched on/off?...............spray the contacts of the on/off switch, check your side stand switch and clutch lever switch (if there is one?)

go to the dealers and get them to read the errors stored ,i work on trucks which use a computer to read the errors, what we do is take a note of the errors and clear them down , then run the truck to see what errors come back .
sometimes all it needs is clearing the errors due to daft things like low battery voltage, or it will point us in the direction of a faulty component.

may sound trivial but did you check the battery contacts
are secure and clean.does the hiss/engine light flash as in showing
    you a fault code?

and the kill switch was okay, clean inside it?

also the bank sensor can cause this too.

i finally found the fault a wiring fault behind the mid fairing on the right side about a foot back from the ecu is a yellow wiring block this has one live feed in and about six out that feed the fuel pump relay the fuel cut off relay the cooling fan etc the feed in had become loose over time and causing intermittent lose of the fuel pump feed added in a second feed now problem solved
