How easy is it to take off the mirrors now they have the indicators in them? (2008) Is there any wiring issues or do they unplug. Don't want to fold them in cause it won't look to cool in the pics
Take screen off so you can feed the wires out.Unplug each one they are colour coded.light green and blue.You will also need mirror blanking plates to screw down/secure the front cowling.Then put screen back on.Not an easy task getting at the connectors but do-able.
Jason just folds his in whilst on a track day. I don't think it ever gave him any problems doing this?
I can get to the wires, as said only 2 each side and colour coded. unplug, remove 2 bolts each side and just done. About 2 mins a side.

They're not too difficult to remove but I just fold in as its not worth the effort to remove them me thinks... Cable ties are useful if you don't have blanking plates
I've got them off, and bought some blanking plates. FORTY FLAMING POUNDS! I might cut the wires down a bit and put some different connectors on just to make it a bit easier, as sideways said you have a lot of wire to tuck back down in behind the screen. Anything wrong with using those red and yellow push together connectors that you crimp on?
You don't need to muck the wires up.... They ll tuck into the rubber shrouds without any interference... Use a couple of 6 or 8 mm bolts and nuts a rubber washer and screw in to support the fairing and stop it moving although I ve removed mirrors for trackdays with no issues in the past ..
You've probably got a point about mucking the wires up, I'm just not that patient with these things. Il look out for you Tuesday, I certainly won't miss the bike. Il be getting there hopefully just after seven, il be in a dark purple transporter
