Just been reading last months PB readers letters about tyre pressure. Someone questioned the fact PB said 36 PSI front & back for last months tyre test. He said it should be 36 front 42 back which I use. PB reply was that Honda state pressures for solo & with passenger at these figures but seen as we mostly read solo 36 front & back gives more contact area & less tyre wear. This made a lot of sence to me. What pressure do U use for normal to fast road riding.

Talking to Mark at MH racing. Suspension guy who worked in top flight racing for years said to me only a few weeks ago to run no more than 34 front and rear on my Dunlop D211 GP's. I don't ever run more than 34/36 MAX on any make of tyres . never had a issue and good wear on my tyres

Run 30 front and rear HOT at Donny trackday. so more like 27/25 cold,

Also told by a very good source, higher pressure = more tyre wear = spending more £££

Thats what PB say's & since my rear normaly squares off at about 1500 miles I'm def going to drop my rear pressure to 36.

Rode for 6 years on 36f and 42r on a 600RR then got my blade and after doing some research on this site dropped to 34f and 38r,find the tyres warm up faster with loads of grip:)

36 Cold all round for me for general Solo road riding.

Track Days require lower Cold settings in the late 20's
