There's no cutting of anything Ospoon!

Renntec provide you with two offset adapters which bolt on at the rear end of the subframe.

This requires the rear plastics tail piece to be removed, which is a simple 2 bolt and slide back routine.

Once these two adapters are in place (which can only be seen from underneath the bike once fitted) the plastics never need removing again.

The actual Rack it's self then bolts up in 4 places.

2 Bolts from underneath via the adapters and the other 2 where the Grab strap attaches.

Future removals and fitting takes 10 mins so you've no need to ride round all year with it fitted if you don't want to.

Thanks for the info, sounds good.
Just got to find the money now as I have to fork out for another rear tyre thanks to a ruddy great screw I found this evening!

    +1 on the Renntec.

Makes a huge difference to the stability of the Kriega gear and safe guards the bike against wear.

I am almost thinking that rack and kreiga could work as well as Ventura...

That's a good Analogy that Ian!

A Ventura equiped bike looks like it has a P&O Ferry shoved on the back!

A Renntec Kreiga setup looks more like this!

LOL! Prefer it being called a Ferry than a Portaloo! Renntec Kriega setup looks expensive
