wanted: rr8 blade or newer for £5500

    Hi all I had my rr8 blade nicked about a week and a half ago and insurance have paid me out £5500, so I am on the market for a replacement. Email me what you have I am based in london but willing to travel

    Moved to the wanted section, there was a black one for 5k on eBay about a month ago but it was a slow black one

    6k is just above my budget If the price can be dropped a bit I may be more willin The hunt continue!

    2010 (10 Reg) CBR1000RR8 Red/Black, 1 Owner (me), Excellent Condition, Taxed & MOT until March 2014, Recent Bridgestone 016 Pro Tyres, New (OEM) Chain/Sprockets 2000 miles ago. Standard apart from Honda Tank Pad & Single Seat Cowl. 21k ish miles. £5500.

    Have you called Hunts about the white one to see what they can do?

    It really is mint and very low miles

    I've got an 08 RR8 Fireblade I may be selling :( White and Black, 8100 miles, FSH, tax and MOT. R&G crash bungs, R&G tail tidy, integrated rear brake light, single seat cowl, good tyres, Goodrich braided brake lines, superb condition apart from a crack in the plastic beneath the rear seat key hole. Superb machine but moving house so might have to sell it. Can come with a brand new carbon Yoshi R77 for £6000 or £5,600 with stock exhaust.

    Insurance paid out in a week and a half!!!!! They must have nicked it themselves

    That's what I was just thinking. That is amazing for a payout....thought it was 6 weeks wait just to see if it turns up anywhere.

    Just an update on things. I finally pick up another blade from leeds yestesterday! It's an all black blade with loads of goodies on it and 1 owner from new. I will post pictures up soon as I can. Thanks again everyone
