    Just got my pcV today.
When I fired the one to my hayabusa it had a gear position wire built in. I see on the one for you have to run your own wire. Is it worth doing?
I assume this will mean I will have a map for each gear?
Plan on getting it custom mapped.
    Thanks

Slick is the OEM thread size not M14 x 1.25?
I know dynojet and Bazzaz sensors use M18 x 1.5 but thought the OEM was as above.

    Hey Ricky,
If it was me I would speak to your tuner with regards to wither or not he will tune a seperate map for each gear. He may charge extra for this but may not as it would take more time. You could still install the wires but it may be pointless depending on what your tuner does while it's on the dyno.

If you were going down the dynojet autotune route and tuning the bike that way then yes I would highly recommend adding and installing the extra wires to hook in the speedo and coolant temps sensors so you can map all six gears yourself.

Fitted the pc5 today. Wow what a difference and that's just with a downloaded map. Sooo smooth. Can't wait to get it custom mapped.

Fitted the PCV today, used the custom map for the yoshi R77 as the stock map. I thought I would be able to get to the wiring harness on the injectors by propping the tank up NO WAY the 12 blade is so tight for space you can barely see them. Had to take tank off in end, the whole job was fiddley you need small hands and good eyesight. Still it seems worth it engine sounds smoother on tick over, no hunting and revs very smoothly, will hopefully ride it tomorrow to see how it feels.
