Swing arms

    Thinking of upgrading the swing arm on my 05 blade, was wondering if the black one from the 06-07 model would fit or if anyone had any other suggestions? Thanks.

    Been looking at this myself but decided its easier and cheaper to get carbon covers

    Yeah frame and Swingarm the same there were just extra brackets on earlier frame to accommodate different ecu position and wide fairings and the larger rad . Almost as if they were gonna slim it down in a couple of years

    You might be right about it being easier Martin but I have found a few of those black swing arms for under the hundred pound mark, if it fits I reckon ill go for it.

    Thanks for the reply mate, so the black swing atm should fit straight on to my 05 frame then I take it..

    you'll need the linkage as well slightly different rate was employed, but other than that goes straight in.
