Hi lads and lasses, im phil ive had my blades a few weeks i had a zx6 for 2years which was a lovely 1st bike for me it never put a foot wrong and if im honest i do miss it a bit as ive not had a chance to explore the blade but 1st impressions are very good,but i dont have great confidence in the tyres that are on( diablo3 s) i got used to pilot powers on the zx maybe just need more time Anyway thought ide say hello this forum looks great been checking in most nights and found loads of useful info and some great threads
Hi Flynn. Great to have you I once had a zx6 great bike .Your tyres should be fine but won't perform as good now the Tarmac is getting colder .
You also had a blade once Giv ! Welcome to the forum Phil tyres are great once you are used to them just check they haven't got a funny ware pattern from previous owner and not squared off etc
hello and welcome, we are getting a great little group of teeside boys on here now, im sure you will love the blade once you get used to it although you might have to wait about 6 months now, 1 thing i would say is that pirelli havent actually made the diablo 3 for quite a few years now so they will be quite old tyres, this shouldnt really be an issue though if they were stored correctly, keep them for winter tyres and treat her to a new set of some sticky rubber next spring. . . . oh and pics
yeah I think the tyres are original as the bike has done 5900 and they are squared a little new 1s will be ordered soon tried to add pics but im s*** at that sort of thing I will have to get my 5 yr old to do it tomorrow
