Don't take the first inurance offer mate, I spoke to the assessor on my brothers heap of a thundercat and I pushed the offer from 1100 too something like 2550 after about 8 phone calls
Best Stay on topic as we are more concerned with Dee and his future blade than the driver. Where ever they may be from
Glad to hear your ok mate, hope you get all your money back and then some! Might be worth while seeing what the 2014 blade brings????
Glad your OK...bikes can be fixed or bought....limbs and life cannot. As for the driver, its doesn't matter where they are from, if they are reckless/sh1t....then they are reckless/sh1t.
Good new on insurance. Get on Bike Trader and start looking for the same bike as yours: colour; year; and mileage within 100 miles as that is your starting point for the claim.
Sorry for your experience of being in a crash, every time I'm out on the bike I see loads of potential crashes between me and other motorists, if it were not for me taking action. The roads are a war zone for us bikers, I sometimes wonder if to do track days only, but it's not cheap, and after the incident at Oulton Park recently not so safe !
nastly, hope you get sorted with another bike soon and also heal up fast. on the bright side a new bike will be on its way for you
I have sorted claim company throug friendly garage. I know that they will take care of my and plus friendly garage will make bike as writeoff ( regardles if it can be fix or not i will have new blade ;p ) and... and I was thinking that I will try to keep my old blade, or buy it of straight away form insurance company for about 200 ( that's what I been told, but not sure if it realy can be that cheap..) and if will keep it then at some point I would make it as a streetfighter project... That woudl be quite cool to have streetfighter blade and race one...wouldn't it ?
