I am very sad, ive watched the last final round on eurosport and bbc now as the beeb didnt have time for the podium, coxy and parish realised right away lorenzo was slowing the pace of the race to group up the front of the pack. eurosport and ryder didnt even realise this was happening even when the yam pit crew could be seen giving the slow down gestures! they just kept saying lorezo has the hammer down and cant get away!

not related to the topic but though it was worth a mention.. hehe :)

With Bt sport, iPhone as 3G router linked to ipad, I need never never miss Moto GP again. Link it to my smart tv and I can watch it full screen without the need for a sky setup. Yes I know BT are shite but this should partly compensate for it. Rugby is my sons passion so he is happy, just STOP showing the faggot football.

I am glad it is not just me who thought the BBC coverage was good. I have been watching GPs on Eurosport since the mid-nighties and when they lost the live MotoGP rights to BBC, I have been watching it on there. I thought Cox and Parrish were good, plus I liked all the behind the scenes topics and interviews on the BBC that you never got on Eurosport.

One thing for now though is I am still unsure if I want to fork out £120 a year for BT sport. I won't say never though because come March when I am gagging to see racing again I will find it hard to resist.

Someone said the subscription to motogp.com was very good? Could be an alternative to BT..

Motogp.com is quite good. You can watch it anytime and gives coverage right thru the weekend and testing as well. Saying that I didn't get it this year as cash is tight. You can also watch a huge selection of old GP's from past seasons and interviews etc which is excellent. You can choose your camera views as well apparently.

The only good thing with Eurosport losing the rights is that I don't have to listen to monotone Spalding anymore! This is not a comment on his knowledge, which I'm sure is extensive, but it is a very dynamic and exciting sport and that drone reminded me of my old english teacher in a double period. Spoiled many a good race for me and made me switch over to BBC in the end.

yeh I have to admit I prefer the BBC coverage, coxy and parrish are ok, but liked Matt (and his grid walks, he has good banter with the riders) and Azi is lush.

I hate ryders voice, it does my nut in, and agree with lambchops they didnt pick up on the fact Lorrenzo was backing the riders up.

Yes I agree BBC was great for pit lane stuff and the little expo stuff they do with the riders. Plus it was HD for free!! Anyway have 6 months or so to decide if im going to splash out the extra dosh for BT..

OK, looks as though I have been out voted, on the BBC v Eurosport coverage.
I admit to only having watched, part of a BBC race report, perhaps I have been unfair in my comment.
But the Eurosport guys did make me chuckle with some of their comments, much to the mrs annoyance..('why was that funny '- she often asked)
