Im picking the Bike back up from the garage Saturday then going to have a long hard think..no rush as I am riding my gixxer and its nearly xmas.. Some really good points made by all..any new commuter is going to get battered as well and lots of the bits needed are consumables... Hi masterblader, I remember the day round your place sorting the rad...I ended up having to buy a new (second hand rad) much better but now the fan cuts out on idle...so its been hitting 113 when in London traffic Im going to price up all the parts and see how much labour will be.. agreed scooter riders and for some reason a twat on a fazer are the bane of London bike bays...and the dumb design of the indicators which are part of the fairing....who the f%%ck ever thought that was a good idea? scooter scrapes indactor then that snaps the fairing
I think if I commuted in the Smoke I'd kit me Blade out with a full perimeter protection system similar to the bikes that Stunt Riders use to practice on. You know a sort of light weight scaffolding system bolted on to the bike which stops the bike falling over etc. U could just barge ya way through the City and any fecker gets in ya way then they get a scaffold scar down the side of their Transport!
If your set on getting rid mate why don't you get some picture and details up on here first? Many have said they may be interested for a track bike (I'd have a look at it for the right price)
Taken a whole bunch of photos ... But with less than 20 posts I can't post in the for sale section...
