Thats my exact reason for posting but as usual someone had to take a snipe, Exactly why I'm getting bored of this now.
Did ten years on another bike specific forum, met a few good chaps and some proper c**ts, was subject to and probably dished out a fair bit of heckling, but I have to say that most of what goes on here is quite tame and light hearted, the Mods don't seem to be power crazed twats and there isn't a self proclaimed mechanical guru, who sneaks off to the Mercan site to get the answers for questions posted here. So far I've seen nothing that doesn't exist on other forums, and I hope no more peeps throw in the towel and that those who have wander back at some stage

Sorry to hear it has come to you leaving phantom, I'm not on Facebook myself but wish you a happy Christmas and new year mate. If you are still reading these messages and for anyone else considering leaving due too sniping all your doing is letting the snippers win, ignore them that will piss them off more as they thrive from your reactions! If anyone feels they are being sniped by another member please PM one of the mods and tell us who and we will deal with it if we can. We read most threads but can't read every post as we all have family and jobs too so if something's not right please bring it to our attention. I don't want to read any more of these leaving posts
well said. always going to get different views from people. I think the only major downfall of forums are that people can come across the wrong way when they don't mean it. but not all the time and re mods I will add that I was on a big forum a few years ago "rymes with Superbike" for..... but it went to sh*t when the mods got stupid with power. if they did not like what you had to say they would just remove the post. or change your avatar title to something rude or nasty just for the fun of it I left. still have account but never go back. And every forum I am on you get people of different views. and I won't agree with. but your never going to get the same view from everyone as that would be boring
