I'm looking to get a new one as the one I have had seen better days. I have a budget of about £50 or just over. It has to be waterproof and I do 66 miles a day on the bike to work. You read reviews but they can be biased. Cheers in advance
Looks like a copy of my kappa rucksack but cheaper Product Reviews - Kappa 30ltr Waterproof Rucksack Had mine a couple of years now and is awesome! I know everyone says kriega but only one of their rucksacks is fully waterproof! and this is only a third of the price http://www.motostorm.it/en/details....currency=GBP&gclid=CJeSnJ2m1rsCFWmWtAod_H8AoQ
Knox do a good one , can't remember the model though sorry. I have one and although I don't use it every day I did come all the way up from donington one year to Central Scotland in heavy rain most of the way and stuff was bone dry.
Don't make the mistake thinking a military rucksack will be waterproof take it from me there not (20years in the forces full and part time)! You'll still need a canoe sack/waterproof liner, if you do get one remember they are designed to sit differently on your back also!
In what way are they sat different on your back? Are they sat higher? If so then that could impede with the helmet when riding. http://www.military1st.co.uk/nrt025h-pro-force-new-forces-rucksack-25l-multicam.html That is the one I've been looking at or http://www.ewetsuits.com/acatalog/walkers-drybag-rucksack.html
The military daysack are designed usually to sit on top of webbing(beltkit) so may sit higher! Also it will only be shower proof I've had army issue daysacks costing 3 times as much that still need a waterproof liner! The lomo Drybag rucksack looks your better bet as will be waterproof
I have bought and used from this place Waterproof Bag top stuff and well priced I use the dry bags for the kit car and bike and case for phone. always been 10% waterproof
