Not had a an issue before with rims, but today wiped the wheels over and 'orange' on the cloth: confused:

 

I've taken the wheels of mine ( and a lot of other bits to clean it ) and
My wheels were the same.

Given them a polish with a final finishing polish, then coated them with Nanolex sealer which is a ceramic coating.

Then a wax coat of Coalnite 942, a heavy duty wax.

Hopefully will keep them protected and easier to keep clean.

Done the same system to all areas of the bike too !
