hopefully a quick question, I have a drift ghost hd-s and would like to know peoples advice on mounting the camera to the bike for trackdays. Went to outlon august last year and they did not allow suction cups, which is fair enough wonder if tethering it with a suction cup would be ok? Cheers
Depends whose running the Day! No Limits are OK with suction at Oulton, however MSV Track Days (Who own the Track) are not. I got round the MSV Marshals frowing by lock wiring the Ghost mount to my steering damper so if the suction let go all it would do is fall sideways a few inches and flap about and scratch me tank a bit. He wasn't that impressed but had to agree it complied with their 'Mechanical Fitting' stipulations!
