Rear upper fairing panel 08 onwards

    Just done a tail tidy and can't believe what a polava it was putting the rear panel back on.

    It it me or do you HAVE to fit the lock mount after fitting the rear panel.

    It does need teasing back into place, I found the same when I stripped it down to remove my footpegs

    I always remove the locking panel and refit afterwards.

    Not worth the risk if you ask me.
    1 thing I did do though was to remove the front 2 bolts and only install the rear 2 as there is no need strength wise for all 4 bolts.

    Yeah, did the same Colin... just two bolts. Glad I don't work on the Honda factory line
