I try my best not to read, take note of the news. too much Big headlines trying to sell the news. I am unsure if to lock the theads. I don't wish it to go tits up, and maybe getting back on track. Amateur psychology time... Here are two scenarios I've noticed on this forum. Can anyone explain the drastic difference in reactions to these two situations? Situation 1 - Members make racist comments about the Chinese. Reaction 1 - No-one says a word. Situation 2 - Members make sweeping statements about their experience with the Police. Reaction 2 - Quite a few folk react quite severely and openly condemn it.
Have not seen any comments about Chinese, would of picked up on it as my mrs best mate is Chinese? Has someone been on here saying that the Chinese should be banned from all bike forums then if so thats disgusting!
Fail. First off, haven't seen any racist comments about the Chinese. Secondly, not sweeping statements that have got a response from me, just downright insulting statements. My last word on the subject, back to biking ) JD

I wont think that every bike builder or cabbie is a knobber though........just you.
The above post from cabbie is from someone obviously very talented, but unfortunately talent seems to be the only redeeming feature, best stay away from forums that use the written word if you cant express yourself in an intelligent way.
I'm surprised our moderation team allowed this one to go so far - how many peeps has this alienated ?? Crying shame...moderators rule #1 always steer clear of religion and politics...they always draw extremist comments, both from peeps with both good and bad experiences / thoughts - proof being in the 13 previous pages... Please remove the whole thread...
Nonsense... If anything, it shows a huge majority of the forum members support the police! If you think about it, it seemed like it was only Cabbie and me that have had bad experiences with the police, if i was a 3rd party police officer reading this whole thread i'd be happy to know 95% of the bikers here are behind them.
As a forum, its perfectly reasonable to put over your personal opinion, good or bad, its when the wording used becomes offensive that its a problem. A. I hate the police, They always seem to pick on me, they are only our to get revenue half the time in my experience. (correct) B. I hate the police, bunch of f***ing pigs out to rob us, they should all die in a horrible f***ing way, robbing c**** are not having my money. (incorrect) C. I have no problems with them, if you are not doing anything wrong they dont get involved (correct) hope that helps Can we now leave this thread to rest?
