Right then, for some reason I have been drawn to this machine. I can't explain it but every time I stray onto PistonHeads, Auto trader or Ebay I've been checking these out. Now I sat on one today and to be honest it has not put me off at all. Might even make the want stronger. Now its looks far faster than it actually is but thats not what its all about is it? Could be great fun when just tooling about and will no doubt keep the speed demons at bay. Still gonna keep my blade but any thoughts on this one? Picture shows a V7 Clubman but Racer is essentially same machine in all but name.
Its a thing of serious beauty !! I bet it sounds amazing ! I don't think it will keep the speed demons away though... It oozes the "death or glory" days of old, when men were men and drank petrol, and didn't have to care if a woman enjoyed it ! Your gonna need the right outfit to go with it tho... You'll look at twat on it with repsol leathers ! A sheepskin flying jacket maybe...
I'm a cafe fan; something very cool indeed about arriving on these machines. Some are stunning; others a dogs dinner imo. The V7 is really nice to look at; the italians know style for sure. The only downsides I know of are the lack of pillion seat (cant have a trundle to the pub on a summers evening with the wife) & quite low power. I have a Thruxton which is modified to my taste & it has both the duel seat & much more power. You are right though; these bikes compliment the Blade & what a choice to have on a sunny day! This is mine.
Now that looks superb! Might need to look a little closer at these! Your right about the power and it's the only thing that is giving me any concern. Not as big a worry as sitting on 10 points tho! You can drop in a pillion kit of one of the other V7 models so no worries that way. Wife doesn't ride now but kids do
Love the V7's. Seen a few in the flesh, and you can't help but stop, stare, admire and desire. Very beautiful bikes! Go on son!
these are sexy looking machines, and youll certainly have strong forearms from all the polishing of it that custom chopper a few posts up is sexy as hell too im not normally a fan but i think i would even be temped for one of those
my mate had a go on one of those as he loved the look then I gave him a shot of my 09 thruxton and guess what he now has a 13 plate green thruxton sitting in his garage, the guzzi is nice but it's missing 20bhp
