    Hey guys,

I searched the forum and it does not look like anyone has had the same issue as what I am experiencing.

My bike is a 2008 1000RR with 7000km's on the clock.
There is a vibration noise that you can hear clearly when you roll off the throttle. The vibration can be felt through the seat as well.
    It is quite severe.

During acceleration the noise/vibration can not be heard/felt

The bike is fitted wit a Yoshi pipe. I checked all the fasteners. They are nice and tight.
I read on the web that it could be titanium valve clatter.

I have never experienced this with any of my other bikes.

If so check out this post from a guy who had a nightmare to the point that the shop set up a forum to give him reports, I hope it doesn't sound like this, mine make a little whine and I have been advise Crank Shaft my reply was B)^&*ocks if is was my crankshaft by now I would have put a hole in the engine casing the amount of hard riding I have done on the track with this bike, that chatter is obvious but I think people look for imaginary noises like I did then got worried, if you have a bike with a lot of mileage on it and it not exploded , good chance your crank is fine, I have heard 100 reasons and the bike still runs like a mad man on the track, just my tem pence worth check this link out http://motohorseman.forumotion.com/t56-cbr1000rr-crank-replacement

I know my replies are a bit late but people are still worried about 2008/9 CBRs and recalls, so thats why I added it, I have a guy coming to listen to my bike tomorrow as the dealership here has told him his Crankshaft needs replacing on his 2008, uuhm I thin if something bad was going to happen it would have done five years ago or more, just trying to put a little water on the coals, its not always what the blood sucking dealer says it is and here in Brasil its 4 grand just for the crank, so imagine the labor and other parts, if your crank is bad you will know very quickly and suddenly at this level and the hole in your casing will prove it....
