nah no paying £16 + £5 for to park the car, The Carole Nash classic bike show will be held there in August for £8 so I'll go to that instead

I vowed never to be back to the Scottish bike show! Compared to the NEC show for similar money to get in n park there is just so much more at the NEC!
Ok extra traveling involved but worth it too meet up with forum members for a bit of banter n as Novembers show a curry n a laugh at nite!

Was last at the scottish show bout 5 years ago n went round the place in bout 20 mins looking at every stall n all the bikes n thought is that it?

Ah yeh myself and the wife will be there.
Not sure which day as yet.
And if the weather is good we will be there on bikes.
If not, then car it is.
It's nowhere near the scale of the NEC show, and there isn't a mega lot to be bargained with as far as stalls and what not.
But it's usually a sign that the season is about to start and that weather may start picking up.
Was a bit wet last year so we just took the car.
Year before it was the bikes though.

It's a shame that one moved from Lanark.
Went to that a couple of years ago, and while the weather didn't help them in their first year I still enjoyed it.
Made riding home enjoyable too as we went the long way home.

Think it was carol Nash that hosted the one Colin went to couple of years ago in Lanark, he found out about it by accident the same day it was on n headed in.
He got some nice photo shots of old ducs n a mint wee monkey bike as well as a couple of ex rally cars if I remember correctly! ;)

Agree with most of what's been said but, if we don't support it they will pull the plug on it and if that happens we won't get another one. We use it as a meeting place to spend a bit of time with your mates that you normally only ride with . I'll be going and meeting up with 5 of my mates. Bike hopefully but car more than likely.
