My premium last year was a tad under £600 with MCE - fully comp. That was also with zero NCB & a gap of over 20 years riding! Probably not too bad considering ;). Mind you MCE was about the only company who would insure me. Had a few ridiculous quotes in the £3-9,000 bracket. So, hope mine will be cheaper this year with a years NCB. Heard Carole Nash is a very pukka company to insure with.

That's what I found when I spoke with them last year.

Mine is with MCE and I have 1yr NCB and a full claim for a theft from year 1. I paid 820quid fully comp with euro breakdown, third party on other bikes, all mods declared which are PCV, fully yoshi system, pazzo levers etc.

Apparently a lot of insurers don't like PCV's. Also told good luck insuring a S1000rr if you have a theft claim as most won't touch you in that case

Right Choice is coming out £330 Excess £450
Still phoning round but these insurance companies are doing my head in as they don't listen.
    £438.02 Bennetts with £600 excess
    MCE £500+
    Bikesure £500+
    Carole Nash £712
I'm thinking I should have said I don't have any mods especially the PC3 and HM Quickshifter but I don't want to be in a position of no insurance if I need to claim.
Onto EBike and a few others before I go with, Right Choice.

Just renewed with Right Choice. £313 with 5 years NCB a couple of claims in the last 5 years and a 3 points including protected NCB. This was down from >£1k last year. They were initially going to charge me the same but compare the Market put them as cheapest at that price which they then matched. Well chuffed!
